Speakers

Hussein Afeefy

Former chairman of Islamic Center of Maryland. He offered many lectures on Islamic Finance and other Islamic topics. He provides family and individual counseling. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and Islamic Studies at the Institute of Arabic and Islamic Sciences in Virginia. He can be reached at  afeefyhus@gmail.com or 240.715.2230


Aamir Sheikh

Dr. Aamir Sheikh began his Islamic studies at the Institute for Islamic and Arabic Sciences in Fairfax, VA in 1997 and has been a student of knowledge since.He has studied in Jordan, Syria, and Morocco and has obtained ijazaat (licenses) in numerous Islamic subjects including Islamic Creed and Belief, Hadith Sciences, and Prophetic Hadith from numerous scholars throughout the world. Dr. Sheikh has conducted short courses and classes for over 13 years throughout the US, and continues to conduct Islamic studies short courses in the Baltimore metropolitan area. In addition to his Islamic training, Dr. Sheikh received a Master's degree in Education and a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Maryland. Currently, he teaches at the College of Dentistry, Howard University and resides with his wife and 5 children in Catonsville, MD.


Ayman Nassar

Founder of Islamic Leadership Institute of America, a leadership education and development institute serving youth, families and organizations. Among his activities is coaching and mentoring youth. He holds two Master degrees in Engineering Mgmt, Systems Engineering and Electrical Engineering and several certifications in leadership and management. Ahmed Hamdy

 
Dr. Hamdy has practiced medicine in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, a young medical professional in the field of pediatrics. He has a passion for youth development and brings years of experience dealing with thousands of young people as a medical prodfessional.
